Dude, Take a Chill Pill

In Chile, many high school students and college students are protesting because the education system is bad.  The police are trying to break up the protests by blasting them with water cannons.  So far, 114 students have been arrested.

What we’re wondering is if you think violent protests against the police are a good or bad way to get attention?  Will violent protests work, or only get you in trouble?

Here’s what we think:

    Blurbers,
Nice job on the current event, we have already read and talked about this story so I don’t know if you can call it current.
Ms. Polly Pockett says in response…
“I think violent protests that go as far as throwing rocks and paint bombs at the police, should make the government think about listening to the protesters.”
Now about the 4 to 0 comment. Do kindly remember that you have had a substantial head start in the blogging world and we are only just beginning. Give us two weeks and then we’ll see who’s on top!

I think that they should keep up the violent protest. It will get the governments
attintion which will help the students get what they want. I don’t think that they should go over the top, like killing people and stuff like that. That is going to far with there idea. I am in favor of the violent
    protest.
