Robin Hood?

Evo One of our favorite world leaders, Evo Morales, has been making some waves in his home country of Bolivia lately.  You see, he has decided to seize land from the rich and give it to the poor!  In a recent announcement, he stated that any land that major landowners are not actively using for farming would be taken away and given to indigenous peoples who have no land for their own.

Some people argue that this is only fair—after all, the land originally belonged to the ancestors of Bolivia’s indigenous tribes.  Others argue that seizing land after so many years is wrong–and that it will hurt Bolivia’s economy.

Here’s what we think:

So what do you think?  Should land be equally divided between the rich and the poor?  Or should families continue to control land that has been in their family for generations?
