On October 27, 2006 at 11:30 am, the Antonov-225 Mriya–which is the world’s largest plane–landed at RDU International Airport in Morrisville, North Carolina. It was here to pick up a GE generator that it was taking to Tanzania, Africa.
This plane is huge and is one of a kind. Many people want to build a second Antonov-225, but they don’t know whether they should do it.
