Powerful Cartoons

_42268206_dillion_100 Our current event took place in England today.  The English news channel (CBBC) has decided to make cartoons out of poor kid’s lives.  These cartoons are being created to help teach kids more about poverty.  The cartoons are fairly short, interesting, and powerful.

So our critical question is making cartoons out of poor kid’s lives a good or bad thing?  Will this hurt the kids in the cartoons?  Will they be embarrassed?

    That’s an interesting project, but one niggling point – the BBC is not an English news site but a British one, hence the name British Broadcasting Corporation – those of us in the other parts of the United Kingdom also receive (and pay for) the BBC.
