Rocka “BYE BYE” Baby…

Cryingbabycontactus1a_1

A few week ago,Air Tran–an American airline–kicked off a family when their 3-year old daughter threw a tantrum and refused to sit down.  The mother wanted to hold her child, but the flight attendants wouldn’t allow it.

As a result, the family had to get off the plane without their stuff.  While they were given a refund for their flight, they weren’t allowed to get on another Air Tran flight for 24 hours.

Our critical question is this:  Is it fair to kick anybody off of a plane after they have paid for their travel?  Should people causing a disturbance be asked to leave?

Here’s what we think:

  1. Oprah Winfrey says:

No, I do not think that it is okay to just kick someone off of a plane, because their child is acting up. Also I don’t think it is fair because they did already pay for their flight.
What if they didn’t pay them the amount of money, they paid for? Would that make them madder? Could they sue?
I think they have the right to if they are kicked off a plane, and then ot given the amount that they paid, when they didn’t even get the flight they paid for.
Do you agree or disagree with me?

  2. foshizzel (from our opus) says:

i agree with opra winfrey. you should not kick someone off a plane for taking a baby on the plane. that is totally insane
