Recently, a terrorist group called Euskadi Ta Azkatasuna (ETA) set off a car bomb in Barakaldo, a city in Northern Spain. This group, along with the majority of the Basque people (a region of Northern Spain), wants to break free from Spain and become its own country which would include land in Spain and France.
Since the 1960s, this group has carried out many acts of terrorism. The ETA’s main focus for these acts have been politicians, judges, military leaders and police officers; the death toll is currently over 800.

Is violence a good way to get someone’s attention? If the country that is ruling over you is already giving you many freedoms, should you demand more?
