Fashion Shows Go Up a Size…

Ena11401251905bigThere has been a debate going on in the world about whether we should ban skinny models from the runway.  Models that are under a size six are no longer allowed to walk down the runway in Birmingham, England.  People in Birmingham feel that models that are too skinny aren’t very good role models for kids…especially girls.

In fact, this issue has been recently discussed by two of our fellow Blurbers.  DJ Cash Money said that banning underweight models is wrong because models should be able to look however they want to.  The Hippo Lord said that skinny models should be banned because it is very unhealthy to be so underweight.

Do you think underweight models should be able to model?  Is it okay for the government to choose how you look?  Should skinny models be banned, or should they be able to strut their stuff however they please?

Here’s what we think:

i think this is a great idea. i mean these models these days are getting so skiiny it looks like it u hold their hand it’ll fall off. these women are so unhealthy and ugly to me. their hair falls out their skin is pale. and i dont think this is very attractive to men. i mean im a size 1 but thats cuz im 5’1 and 103 pounds. i think women look nice bein skinny but not so skinny u can see every incremation of there bones. YUCKY! well anyway this is a wonderful idea. this keeps the models healthy and the unhealthy models think twice about not eating. and this saves future anorexics! thank god!

I’m 5’7″ 105lbs…I’m very happy with my weight and I don’t think I’m at all under. I don’t believe it’s all based on height. I have a size C cup and I think that’s what helps balance my weight quite a bit. As for these models, they have no chests which cause them to look disgusting to say the least.
