Legislative School Technology Day: Deputy State Superintendent J.B. Buxton

Lstd4_1One more person got interviewed at our Legislative School Technology Day and it was Deputy State Superintendent J.B. Buxton.  Buxton has just started his job and is getting a warm welcome from everyone including Chairman Howard Lee.  J.B. got a Morehead Scholarship after he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Buxton lives in Raleigh and has three children, Drake, Luke, and Sadie.

JB told us lots of interesting things about sixth grade.  He said that there was something called a Bookmobile which was a giant R. V. on wheels that came to his school every so often. He also said that when he finished a project he hardly ever presented it in the ways that we do today.

Listen to the whole interview here:

You guys did such a great job representing our school system. You made me proud to be a part of this district.
