They Wouldn’t Let Poor Rudolph Join in Any Playground Games…

KickballHeelys are cool, right?  But are they dangerous?  Kids have been getting hurt from Heelys, breaking bones after falling.  One boy even died after falling in front of a car while on wheels.  Many parents and doctors wonder if they are safe for kids to have.

There was another current event recently where kids were banned from tag on the playground at their school because kids were being bullied and playing rough.  We think this is an act of over protection.

What we are wondering is is this over protection a good idea or a bad idea?  Should kids not be able to have fun because of possible injury…or does life go on and you get a little bruise here and there?

Here’s what we think about Heelys:
