Should Bullies go to Jail?

_42575019_bully_bbc416 In the UK, a bully is being tried for beating up two classmates.  If there is enough evidence, the highest court might send him to jail.  If this young boy is sent to jail, sending kids who bully their classmates to jail might become common.  Then there would be many children locked up behind bars.

So our critical question is:  Is sending kids to jail for bullying other kids a good idea or could it cause problems?

I think bullies should be sent to jail. But I mean only for physiclly hurting a victim because words isn’t s bad as physically hurting a person.

I think that the bullies shouldn’t be sent to jail the first time they beat someone up. They should be suspended the first time. If they continue to do it, THEN they should be sent to jail, but you’d think suspension would get the point across!
