A Truly SUPER Bowl!

Large_eliSuper Bowl XLII (42) was a very exciting game.  It was in Phoenix, Arizona.  The New England Patriots faced off agains the New York Giants.  The Patriots were 18-0 and ready to make history, but it wasn’t enough against the New York Giants top-ranked defense.

In the fourth quarter, the Patriots were down and had to score a touchdown.  Tom Brady threw it to Randy Moss for the touchdown.  With a minute and a half to go, the Giants needed a TD.  Eli Manning led them down the field and threw a touchdown pass to Plaxico Burress to take the lead by three points.

The Patriots had four long incompletions in a row and the Giants had won Super Bowl XLII!  The New England Patriots ended their year 18-1 and the New York Giants were Super Bowl Champs.
